Scott Duarte Joins Clear Mountain Bank’s Community Advisory Board

Bruceton Mills, WV, April 10, 2025 - Clear Mountain Bank officials have announced that Scott Duarte has joined its Community Advisory Board.

Duarte has helped establish and operate many fine dining and hospitality locations, including the Bridgeport Conference Center, Mia Margherita and Muriale’s Italian Kitchen.

Duarte joins a well-known group of leaders currently serving on the Community Advisory Board, which includes Tim Stout, Susan Deniker, Reverend Dr. Ken Ramsey, Dustin B. Vincent, Dr. Jaclyn Rominger, DDS, Terry Reed, Dr. Frank Grindo and Dr. Chris Goode, MD, FACEP.

The Community Advisory Board was formed in 2019 to provide guidance and advice to Clear Mountain Bank as it expands its footprint in the State's North Central/Central region.   

Launching his career at just 16 years old, Duarte has become one of the most recognized figures of the hospitality industry in West Virginia.  A graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Duarte has held a variety of positions, including executive chef of the Tamarack in Beckley, executive sous chef for the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, and food service manager and executive chef again at the Tamarack and Conference Center.

In 2006, Duarte returned to his hometown of Clarksburg to join the master-planned community Charles Pointe. There, he had full reign over developing and operating Charles Pointe’s hospitality management company, CP Hospitality.

Over the next 17 years, Duarte began opening and operating some of the area's most beloved locations, including the Bridgeport Conference Center and Mia Margherita. He purchased Muriale’s Italian Kitchen in 2021.

Duarte resides in Bridgeport with his wife Jennifer where they have raised their four children, Brock, Brennan, Sophia and Amelia.
